About Osaurus Workflows

Osaurus Workflows is the community registry for workflows built in Osaurus. Anyone with an Osaurus ID can share one, and anyone can browse, preview, and install them.

How it works

  1. Find a workflow. Search for the job you want done, or start from what's popular.
  2. Check what it does. Each page lists the inputs, every step in order, the full source of any code, and everything the workflow can reach: websites, secrets, tools, and models.
  3. Install it. Click Install workflow. Osaurus opens, shows you the workflow again, and adds it once you confirm.

What we verify

Workflows are shared from inside Osaurus, so every upload carries two signatures from the author's Osaurus key: one on the workflow file and one on the upload request. Before a workflow is published, the registry checks that:

  • the file's content hash matches its contents, so nothing was edited after signing;
  • the file's signature comes from the author address written in it;
  • the same key signed the upload, with a fresh one-time challenge, so nobody can publish as someone else or replay an old upload.

The author shown on a page is that key, plus the Osaurus ID they claimed for it. A name typed into the file itself is shown only as a hint, never as the author. Osaurus checks the signature again and shows the result before you add a workflow.

Signing proves who published a workflow, not that it's safe. That's why every page shows exactly what a workflow does. If one looks harmful, report it; the Osaurus team reviews reports and removes harmful workflows.

Share a workflow

  1. Open the workflow in Osaurus.
  2. Choose Share from its menu. Your saved answers and secret values are never part of a shared workflow, and Osaurus strips local file paths and anything that looks like a key before signing it with yours.
  3. Copy the link and send it to anyone.

It's published under your Osaurus ID, or your key's address if you haven't claimed one. Share it again after making changes and it becomes the next version at the same link. Learn how to build workflows.

Questions

What is a workflow?

A reusable sequence of steps that Osaurus runs for you: AI steps that read and write, short code steps, tool calls, and points where it stops to ask you something. You fill in a few inputs and get a finished result back.

What is Osaurus?

Osaurus runs AI agents on your Mac with local or cloud models and a harness you control. It's open source under the MIT license and free to download.

How do I install a workflow?

Install Osaurus, open a workflow here, and click Install workflow. Osaurus opens and shows you the whole workflow before anything is saved. You can also download the template file and use Import Workflow in Osaurus.

How do I know who made a workflow?

Every workflow is signed with its author's Osaurus key. The registry checks the signature, checks the file wasn't changed, and only accepts the upload from that same key. The author shown on a page is the key that signed it, plus their Osaurus ID when they have one.

Is it safe to install workflows?

Each page shows every step, the full source of any code, which websites it can contact, which secrets and tools it needs, and which models it uses, so you can judge it before installing. Code steps run in Osaurus's sandbox with only the network access the workflow declares. If something looks wrong, report it and the Osaurus team will review it.

Can I update a workflow I shared?

Yes. Share it again from Osaurus and it becomes the next version at the same link. Earlier versions stay available at their own pinned links. You can also unpublish it from Osaurus at any time.
